Default Drivers Side window issue

Hey all,
Having an issue with my drivers side window. It doesn’t roll down quite all the way. Sticks up just a tiny bit. Other info - passanger window works fine/goes all the way down. Did the indexing procedure on the windows and still does not go all the way down. It does go all the way up though. Will attach pictures for reference. Any ideas? Thanks!

You will have to remove the interior door panel to see what is going on. It could be hitting something to prevent it going all the way down, or it needs adjustment.
Good Luck

Here are some pics and some info on the adjustments you can make.

Step one use a sharpie to put some marks around the bolt and mark where the bottom edge of the glass is relative to the clamp so you have some idea how much you are moving the glass the threaded screw through the green plastic bit adjusts the stop point on the door.

Same setup on the rear glass clamp note there is a black marking on the glass itself should be close to the back edge of the clamp loosen the clamp bolts and move the glass forward or back. This should put you in the ball park.

Adjust up or down tilt to get the top edge gap roughly even along the roof by loosening the bolts and moving the glass.

You can use the rear weather strip to give you a guide in the vertical. If you are too far forward on the glass the glass will catch on the plastic bit on the A pillar when you open the door.

Now look at the top of the glass in the up position if it doesn't fit inside the weather strip at the top, then you need to go to the adjuster on the bottom of the door and slack off the nut and turn the center screw counter clockwise so the bottom of the glass goes out and the top goes inward.

The limit stops go against brackets at the top of the door adjust accordingly.

The car monitors the current draw on the window motor there are no electrical limit switches.

One thing to check is the aluminum clamps on the glass are 2 piece line up the gripper pads on then so they clamp across from each other, it is possible to stagger them which would put undue pressure on the glass when you tighten them and thus you could break the glass.

That's it its not that hard to do.Attached Images

Thanks for the reply. This is great info, i did actually see a video on youtube where some guys window was hitting a loose cable and prevented it from going all the way down. Was unaware of the adjustment procedure. Thanks alot, i will look into it this weekend!

I’m just trying to pre plan as my drivers side glass needs to come back towards rear seal about 1/8” it has already ripped the A pillar gasket which I need to find part number for to replace. Which adjustment just moves glass back?
