Hi,
Trying to replace the multifunction switch, the one on the left side of the steering wheel (blinker, headlights, etc.), on a 2007 C6. From a video showing that same repair on a 2001 C5, there is supposed to be two torx screws securing the steering column cover. The cover on mine looks about the same, but where one of the holes could potentially hold a torx screw, the other looks nothing like a screw of any kind.
Much appreciate if anyone who've done this have some knowledge to share?!
The cover just snaps on and off.No screws to remove. It helps to take the cluster surround off also as there is a rubber trim that goes aroundthe rear of the column cover. The surround also just snaps on and off.
