C6, 2008 universal Remote
I’m having trouble getting my universal remote to pair with my garage door opener, any secrets on how to get this to happen. I’ve always had trouble doing this.

We own a 2013 GS. Our old Sears garage door dates back to 1980. It took some determination to get the opener in the visor to sync-up. After some confusion on my part following the instructions in the owner's manual, I eventually got all 3 buttons to operate the door.
