I am at a loss. I did a new intake manifold 2 weeks ago and haven’t been able to get the car to start. Originally I could get it to crank and had a few cylinders fire but that’s all I could get. I checked the Schraeder valve and had fuel come out but haven’t put an actually pressure valve on it which I’m now considering. Checked my fuses and relays and everything looked good. Put a OBD2 reader on it and just had codes from not having cats. Charged my battery for a while and got a multimeter on it and it read 12.2V. Put the battery back in the car and it read 10.8V. Gave it a jump start to see if that might do it but now the car won’t even crank. Just get a click. I don’t know what to even do anymore. Anything helps
Update: I found a mouse nest. Thinking I might have some electrical issues now. Great

Your battery is dead @ 10.8 V. With that voltage, it sounds like one of the cells is shorted since each of the 6 cells is supposed to contribute 2.1 V. First step is to get the battery tested to be sure, and then replace it with a good one. I think the 12.2 volts you were reading was the surface charge on the remaining 5 cells. That would have bled off by the time you got the battery back in and hooked up. I don’t know if a boost could overcome that dead cell in parallel.

Battery first.....also check the ground under the battery and make sure it's clean......probably, while your at it, check the connections on the starter for cleanliness. Let us know what you find!!

Battery, it's always the battery.

Also, make sure that your air flow meter is plugged in. And clean out the critters.

Alright, I changed out the battery and checked the grounds under the battery tray. That got off the service lights and makes me believe that I don’t have mouse issues. The car will crank but not start. I can hear one or two cylinders fire but that’s all I get. Any tips?

Fuel rail pressure normal range is 55-62 psi. Put a gauge on it and verify first.

If fuel pressure is too low, then start looking at the fuel pump and relay.

If it has fuel pressure and it cranks, then spark is next to check. You check all the coil pack connections?

If the car ran before you took it apart then it likely something not reinstalled correctly. Check any wiring connections that you had apart .Make sure that the intake gasket is seated properly.
