Don't need one yet for my 07, but when I do will be either GM or Delphi, which is owned by BorgWarner. They are easy enough to swap out to consider getting a cheapie, but don't want to deal with possible trouble codes that you hear about.
Appreciate you advice. I have an S/C'd LS7, and it is breaking up at about 5,200-5,300 rpm. I cleaned the air filter (it was embarrassingly filthy) and I also used MAF sensor cleaner on the MAF sensor. It is a cheap unit, and I wonder if it is the reason I'm having the difficulty? I will let you know what I find out.
I'd have to say OEM too, back in my f-body days I experimented with all kinds of aftermarket ones and usually they all cause some sort of issues. Is it throwing any codes when it does it Doc?
