Hello I recently just picked up a 2011 Grandsport, everything is great except my steering wheel controls are not responding. Tried my Bluetooth and radio controls no response. I read it might be a fuse. I read my manual and I saw a fuse called SWC DIM fuse , was wondering was this the fuse I need to check. Or do I need to replace the clock spring, and is this fuse located in the interior fuse panel or the one under the hood. And help would we'll appreciated . Thanks
Are you still running the factory head unit? I also have a 2011 Grand Sport and had a 2010 ZR1 before that, and I have to admit that there have been no issues with steering wheel controls. Is it possible a previous owner had an aftermarket wheel and may have forgotten to reconnect something?
From what I understand, it's pretty simple to pull the air bag (carefully, of course). You might need to check the electrical connections. I don't see any fuse specific to the controls: https://www.autogenius.info/chevrole...e-box-diagram/
Yes it's the factory radio, I'll probably pull the airbag this evening and check the wiring. I kept reading different post about checking the fuse, but I never found anything about what fuse it was, I'm thinking it's something simple, but I wanted to exhaust simple problems before getting into something like replacing a clock spring.
See if this helps, the connector show here is after the clock spring, I know for a fact that the Purple, Brown, and Red wires which are hard to see in this photo, are the ones for the steering wheel controls, and the connector is located under the steering column. I believe the Yellow, Purple/White, and Dark Blue wires are at the connector before the clock spring, under the air bag, but I could be wrong.
