Default Cleans those grounds!

I purchased a 2007 Corvette in May and it started off fine. Then came the small electrical issues that then turned into dashlights and error codes.

Service Traction Control
Service ABS
C0281
C0550
C0820
U2100
P0335
P0336

After researching the multiple forum posts here, the recommendation was to clean the 2 grounds under the battery (G104, G106). I did that along with the other two that I could find in the engine bay and I haven't had an issue since. Here's what they looked like

Why is it even that bad?!?!?!!!?

Anyway, hopefully this helps someone in the future.

Why is it even that bad? Why is it even that good? That’s a 15 year old connection sitting under a flooded cell battery. One of the gasses that can be produced during charging is hydrogen sulphide which is pretty corrosive, so trace amounts of that over 15 years could explain it. Maybe a PO tried to add water to the cells and overfilled one a bit, so some battery acid leaked down there and they didn’t clean it up properly.

Good advice as our cars age. I also suggest doing a Big 3 cable upgrade as I did on my 07. Made a difference. Sac City Big 3

I made my own for about 40 bucks with 10 feet of 2-gauge cable from Lowe's and a cable lug assortment and inline fuse from Amazon.
