I assumed, that under the General Discussion page, all that is listed are called threads and that those threads have member's posts listed. I was talking about a post in someone else's thread. In the past, I could delete my post for whatever reason. Under the FAQ's, this is what is states about deleting posts. Can I edit or delete my posts?
If you have registered and are logged in, you may be able to edit and delete your posts (although the administrator may have turned off this option). Your ability to edit your posts may be time-limited, depending on how the administrator has set up the forum.
Have the administrators turned off this option? If so, why? Members should still have that option.
You cannot delete your posts anymore. If you want a post deleted you have to request it thru a mod. I don't think the mods or admins had any say in this, I think the site did this. It only gives the mods more work.
