Default 1st Corvette!

Just pulled the trigger on a 2011 GS convertible with ~24k miles on it. 3LT in Velocity Yellow, Heritage package. K&N intake and Pioneer stereo, the originals come with the car. Bought sight unseen - if you don't count the 65 pictures, 2 videos and the Carfax - from a reputable dealer in Ontario, Canada. Paid the US equivalent of just over $32,000 - car will stay in Canada. We winter in California and will be home in BC at the beginning of April, which is when the car will be delivered.

Looking forward to the experience! It will replace my Solstice GXP which has been my summertime car for the past 18 years.

Looks great! Put on a hide-away plate mount and it would be perfect. Congratulations and welcome.

Congrats on the purchase! You got the fastest color!

I feel like you and @Ron Dittmer will be friends. Same taste in cars with the Solstice and GS vert

Beautiful car and a very nice price. Beyond the front plate thing I would also remove the 'CORVETTE' header in the windshield. Folks either know it's a Corvette without it, or don't care.

Welcome, your car is a peach! I do think a front license plate holder removal could be in your future. If you need the front plate, there are better options. Either way, a mighty fine looking GS! Welcome to the forum!

Agree re the license plate holder. Unfortunately we are required to have the plate, however I have seen more elegant solutions. I wonder if removing it will leave holes? And the windshield lettering will disappear for sure. It also has some vinyl striping on the hood and trunk. I will have to see that in person before I decide whether to leave it on.

Congratulations! A yellow C6 widebody is the cat's meow. Not only is yellow the fastest color, it's the least likely color involved in accidents. Prepare to get a lot of attention, looks, conversations etc.
