Shocks
whats everyone’s favorite shocks?
id like to make my GS stick a little better
on launch’s and corners.
I’m still running the stock original shocks.
If smooth, then DRM shocks with ploy bushings, and change out the sway bar bushings to poly as well.
If for street, then Koni FSD shocks, since they do better in surface chop, and even more in off camber corners with surface chop as well.
Also, same with poly shock and sway bar bushings, to replace the ageing rubber bushings in at least these two areas.
If running MRC shocks with F55 , then get a hold of Jim Mero to reflash the F55 firmware.

As for going to coil over system, can be a step up on a fully adjustable system (if your driving skills are great enough in the first place to make a differance), including fully adjustable shocks (the $5K systems), so long as you have the mech talent to dial it in, in the end (not just set to suggested settings and leaving it there).
Also, while changing the shocks, the sway bar bushings, change out the ride height adjuster, re-corner balance the car, then have 4 wheel alignment down as well.
Note shock change alone will require 4 wheel alignment once they are installed, so this is the reason that your changing out all the parts that are worn out, before you have the aligment completed.

it sounds like the Konis will do the trick.
i had been Loki v at Bilstiens so thanks for pointing
out the Konis.
Im more concerned with spirted street driving than track times.
Do you have a brand of poly bushings you’ve found to work well?

It would behoove oneself to check ones C5 swaybars for greatness, not wimpyness! ... The gentle Stock swaybars diameter are for the less aggressive, purhaps "sissy" kinda C5 driver type kinda guy.... well, purhaps that is a bit over the top.... The thing is.... C5 Swaying gotta stop! 🙄
