Default Suspension control switch

I have a 2005 with the suspension control switch down by the shifter. Whenever I hit the switch, I don’t see anything on the dash to indicate that anything is happening. Should I get some kind of message on the dash or is it normal not too?

I have the round Sport/Tour MagRide on my 2013. I don't recall seeing any indication of a change when making one, but I never paid attention. I imagine the DIC would state something, if the system is engineered to inform the driver of a change.

Same for my '09 with magnetic ride control. It is normal. I do find it odd that GM never put in ANY type of indicator for the system to show which mode you are in or any visual feedback when you change modes.

Once you have owned your car for 2 weeks or more, you will have learned to know what mode you are in based on feel of the switch position.

No need to look at anything.
