How do you guys handle the valet kids.
I asked if any of the children valets could drive a manual and they called for a kid named Nate who supposedly could do so.
Many times there is little choice.
I was on Tulsa today and there was literally no option at my hotel.
I asked his name and told him to go look at how low the front splitter is so he would hopefully be more cautious.
I hsve no idea where the car went to be "parked "sheeze!
While some will say, don't worry about it, or it's just a car, I would never trust the average valet with anything vaguely resembling a performance car. A c6 is distinctly a performance car. An exception might be a high end establishment.
If no choice, you can always tip well, with some up front.
See the USA in your Chevrolet. No way I would trust some kid with our Vette. Park it yourself! Enjoy the smell of those nasty garages. It's good for the sinuses.

This. No one else drives my vette. Only once in 13 years, at the dealer getting the recalls done.
With any of my sports cars, I never let the valet drive it. Especially a Corvette. I give them a tip and they usually point me to a good spot to park. I don't leave the keys either.
Drive it to the parking space yourself with the valet in the passenger seat.
After watching Farris Bueller's Day Off a couple of decades ago I would never let a valet drive my car.
However, it is just a car. It can be replaced or fixed. So, I do let my 21-year-old soon drive it as often as he wants. He's got key #2.

It's the Mayo in Tulsa. come to find out there was a big event that Saturday nite and im not too exited about leaving it parked on the street somewhere
It depends on where you are. I was a valet during college at a high-end casino & a Ritz-Carlton hotel. Trust me, a Corvette was the equivalent to an Altima with respect to what we parked daily. And because we parked so many ridiculously expensive cars, they became boring pretty quickly.
Some of the cool ones I parked: McLaren F1 with the 3 seats (weird), a Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Countach. I rarely take the Callaway out, but if the wife & I go out, many of the restaurants & hotels we frequent have way more expensive sports cars lining the valet.
If you're at all worried about it, $20 when you come in & $20 when you leave will typically get you a spot right up front, or away from other cars.

Similar experience, but I worked at a Best Buy in an affluent area. Aatons, Be tleys, and everything German you could imagine had us install stuff in them. I remember one time one of the other guys had a customer giving him a hard time about how his C250 lease special was a very expensive, very high end car we had to be very careful with. Right after he shut up I pulled in an M5 or a V12 7 series or something like that. The guy was floored and went and shut in the corner.
That said, I don't valet, lol. Partially because I just don't like it, partially because I know what young kids are like. One of the kids at a store near mine wrecked a gt500 he did satellite radio in behind the building. We had to go a bit away from the stores to get outside of range of the repeaters we had to ensure we actually had decent signal. Kid apparently gunned it out there when he was doing this (not uncommon) and smashed it into a garbage dumpster. He was fired, obviously.
