Default Tr6060 anomaly?!?!?

Hey guys,
I just bought a 2013 grand sport with a stage 4 btr cam kit, McLeod twin disc and RPM level 7 tr6060 6speed. The guy was great for the first few days. Absolutely loved it. Today my wife and I got in it to go to my inlaws and I ran it through the gears very conservatively because it was my wife’s first time in the car. Once I got to a cruise of 70mph in 5th gear I decided to put it into 6th to continue the cruise. As soon as I pressed the clutch and reached for 6 the white car shook and I kept the clutch depressed. It sounded like I threw an axle shaft or something. I pulled over while keeping the clutch in to inspect for damage. I didn’t see anything obvious so I started the car back up and let the clutch out in neutral and found out that it’s stuck in first gear but my shifter will move to any gear position including reverse. When in neutral I can get the car to move but when I try to reach for 1st it feels like it’s not even there. There is not notch for first gear but it’s in first gear. I have a notch for every other gear and I can even put it in another gear at the same time as it being stuck in first and it feels like I’m using a trans brake on an auto. Has anyone experienced this??? I’ve been researching for hours and can’t find anything

Sorry I'm not much help but that's definitely not normal. The TR6060 can be a little "notchy" especially going into 2nd but that's about it. There is a problem with the clutch master cylinder, if your car still has a clear or white plastic reservoir then it's likely the original, the updated master cylinders have a black reservoir. The normal fail though is the clutch pedal sticks to the floor, that's different from what you're describing.

First check your shift linkage. If there is no problem there, then you have to inspect the transmission.

it has an aftermarket slave and master with a remote bleeder for the slave. I can still move the car as well and there is no signs of there being issues with the clutch

took the MGW shifter out and the torx bit is fine. I’m going to drop the exhaust and try to pull the top plate off where the shifter would be to inspect the shift rails
