Corvette 2D --- base model
Please help. I'm wondering why so many Corvette ads mention "2D". I'm taking it as meaning "two doors"; if so, what's making that worth mentioning? Also, just what, exactly, does "base" signify? In auto parlance in normally refers to the lowest model. meaning no frills, et al.

Never noticed the 2D when I was looking but yea 2 door. The base is a narrow body and has multiple option packages. The wide bodies are Z06, ZR1, and grand sport. Hope this helps.
