TPMS Help
I watched every video and thread that exists on programming or relearning TPMS on a c6 vette so I put the car into ACC mode by holding down the start button next to the steering wheel, hold the LOCK&UNLOCK botton on FOB for a few seconds until it honks then proceed with attempting to relearn the sensors and nothing happens......ever... regardless of whether Im at any tire location to start, or even in my desperation pulling EIGHT brand new (bought 2 sets just incase 1 set was faulty) TPMS sensors out of the box and trying to use the tools (ive now tried 3 separate 315mhz, GM compatible tools) literally inside the car holding it near the vents while seated in the drivers seat to rule out an antenna issue. My FOBS all work perfectly fine from 100s of feet away and recognize 1 vs 2 remote for memory and I have no other issues with the car whatsoever, its just the actual TPMS procedure that has an issue. Do I need to replace the RCDLR to solve this? I have a VCX NANO that communicates with the car just fine so if I can use that Ill just go ahead and order a replacement RCDLR... looooong story short I need help.... Thank you

Roll down the driver's window, reach inside to put the car in ACC, then hit the lock/unlock buttons on the fob. The car doors should lock & start at the front driver's tire with the relearn tool.

So car out in driveway, not in garage, e handle up, car in AC mode, hold both lock and unlock on fob by shifter, until you get the first Honk telling you RCDLT is in relearn mode.
Now start with trigger tool to trigger TPMS in right drivers tire, and car should honk when it learns that one. Move to passengers front tire, trigger that tmps, car should honk when it learns it, move to passenger rear tire, same with with trigger and honk, then last one learned will be drivers rear tire, and should get two honks when it learned and learning is completed.
When triggering the tireTPMS , sidewall of the tire just about at the rim on the valve stem location.
Now doing it this way, which tire will not trigger to honk the car to show it learned that sensor.
It could be a problem with corrosion on the RCDLR connector or pins that needs to be cleaned, or it could be a problem with cold solder joint on RCDLR header pins, out could be a problem with one of the RCDLR altenna's.
And just a hint, in order to start the car, the RCDLR has to pick up the fob on two of the antenna's (or be in the glove box slot), to prove that the fob is inside the cabin.
So if you are able to start the car with fob not in the slot, then would be very suspect on the RCDLR being bad in the first place.
Also, keep in mind that there are two different TPMS's for the non export C6. One is for the cars from 2005-2009, while the other is for cars for 2010-2013.
So are you sure that the TPMS's that you have are for the correct year, and are programmed correctly from the start.
If not sure, then buy 4 from here to start with. Hence old oems may have been sitting on shelves for every, and the batteries in them, may aleady be dead.

Here is corrosion on the RCDLT pin that will cause problems.
Here is a RCDLR board, that when the board was hot solder bathed, the long header pins did not heat up enough for a clean solder joint, and the header pins solder joints to the board are a cold solder nightmares (joints need to be fluxed and re-flowed with solder iron).

To add, may want to list your location, since pulling center console, pulling RCDLR to clean it up, and putting it all back together, is about a 45 min job, and if local to Denver location, more than willing to have you bring the car over to give you a hand and make short work of solving the problem. If not Denver, then a lot of use out there that can make short work of such to give you a hand as well.
I tried with the door shut and window down which didnt work, I tried the deflate method and it also didnt work. Im certain the new tpms sensors are correct but even assuming the new ones I purchased are not compatible, that doesent explain how my DIC is accurately reading all tires on the car but the RR tire and still I cant relearn any of the correctly reading sensors on the car. I tried to start the process with all 4 of the tires and none of them honk to confirm regardless of which tire I start with, the only honk I get is when beginning the procedure after holding down the lock&unlock button for a few seconds. Ill pull the module sometime this week and see what it looks like inside then report back. Its frustrating that its obviously reading the sensors and my FOBs, but yet cant relearn the sensors.
