I left my only key in the tank and now the car is locked !!!
Of course, I don't want to steal my own car !!

1) I always keep a spare key at hand.
2) Tile.com Analogous to Apple Air Tags.
If I cannot find my keys, I open the tile app on my phone and it helps me find my keys
If I cannot find my phone, I double-click the button on my keys, the phone wakes up and squaws.. Keep the phone charged.

I have to tell just last week I was under rear of the car, looking at something and decided to check for my trunk key I hid with duck tape over 13 years ago incase I needed access to the car by opening hatch, I was surprise it's still there, with rainstorms I driven into 70,000 miles. If you don't know where to look you will never find it.
I also use Apple Air tag placed in the car incase someone steals the car.
Another trick, the hatch key slot when dirty the key won't slide into so I cut a quarter size piece of tape placed it over slot.
