Yes, they are pricey and I could have zip tied casters to the quickjack like others have, but I wanted something more reliable and heavy duty. These are exactly that! I cant believe how easy it is to move the quickjack around now. After shoulder surgery, my strength is nowhere near normal and these casters make getting the quickjack under the corvette a breeze. The person who sells these had awesome customer service; I ordered the wrong ones and he sent me the replacement parts for free. If you use your quickjack a lot, these are a worthwhile investment!
Nice... but THAT is a "Quickjack tax"! Sending you another set for free might give a hint on his profit margin.
When I saw it, first thing came to mind was that some heavy gauge L brackets and 3" stem casters would accomplish the same task... for 35 bucks. I could be wrong.

maybe, but I dont have the time or skill to fab something up. And he didn't send me an entire new set, basically the bushings that go into the quickjack, I ordered them for the 7000 series and I have the 5000 series, so he sent those for free. For me, knowing that other people have purchased these and it didn't raise the height of the QJ, it was a good purchase. Besides, the corvette tax has made me numb to all the other taxes!
Yikes they are nice, but little to much money for what they do for me. I guess I'm stick with the roller *****. 😕
I get it. I dont have an issue paying a little cash for something that is well put together and saves my back and shoulders. Just like everything, we have to pay for the R&D for the person who made these. Again, it is a lot of money, but my post was to highlight how well the kit is. Quickjack should have come standard with this.
Pretty good idea. But not in my budget right now, although the shoulder isn't getting any stronger....In my mind I keep saying " how hard can it be?" But my brain can't figure it out yet. Thanks for sharing it.
I love Mine. I wish I could get the hang on the wall option but these things are heavy
yes they are! Thats the only reason I'm advocating this product; the QJ are heavy as hell and this makes things a lot easier moving them. When it comes to making my life easier and not stressing my body, ill pay the premium, especially when I cant fab something up like this.
I move my Quickjacks around using a pair of inexpensive furniture dollies purchased from Harbor Freight. These dollies are also great to use when removing and installing your wheels. With the wheel positioned on the dolly such that the mounting holes are aligned with the studs, you can raise or lower the car to get everything perfectly positioned and simply push the wheel right on to the hub. My old arms and shoulders certainly appreciate that!
