Just ordered a new set of $350 each Mickey Thompson Baja legends for the raptor to be installed tomorrow.
Went to drive the vette to work and see this: maybe I should own stock in discount tire. And what kind of monster still uses flat head screws?
Discount Tire replacement certificates have paid for themselves many times over for me. I get them on every new car I buy and every new set of tires. I've got 4 vehicles all with expensive tires, so a little for insurance is worth it to me.

I bought them with my new raptor tires, I have unbelievable bad luck with unfixable flats.
I don’t track the car so I may go with tires more affordable than the pilot sports.
There is a Potenza s007 A that is cheap but I’ve yet to see too many reviews.
Plug does not work on that type of injury - oh yea you can plug it.. it will hold air -- and it will slowly degrade to leak a little. When you take that tire off - look inside and the cords and inner part are all F'dUp. I know I just went thru that with my rear tire - it had only 10,000 mile on it. I was surprised as to the damage inside.
Replace that tire or purhaps two of em.. perhaps all of them. You gotta spend money to protect ones Corvette from a tire failure problem in the boondocks. GM won't help you there,

Exactly why I replaced all 4 when I picked up a piece of welding rod in my rear passenger tire. Lots of tread left on 'em too, but I wasn't taking chances.
