I'm looking for a picture of an emission control label/ sticker for my 2008 Chevy Corvette C6 LS3 Base model
I recently purchased the car and it doesn't have one on it I went and had it smogged here in Nevada they said this is not a pass or fail here in the state of Nevada, but if you go to California or other states they might not smog it for you without having a sticker on your vehicle.
I got in touch with vin labels and they said they could print one up for me but I have to get a replica of a original one from a sister car meaning same year make and model, so they can make one for me.
can somebody out there help me with this I don't know if it has the vin number of your vehicle on it if it does just block it out and send me a clear picture of the rest of it and where it's located at on the vehicle so I can have one made.
Thank you so much for responding and sending such a clear and perfect picture vans labels should be able to make one up for me know,
I have a question where you blocked it out on the picture that's where I would have them put the last eight of my vin number correct, so it matches the car.
Nice color I like that blue about 40 years ago I had a 68 with a white convertible top with a 427 automatic it was a nice car I wish I still had it today.
I have a graphics designer at emission control labels, trying to design this up for me he's asking me for the measurements how wide is it and long so they can make it as close to original as possible could you measure yours and send me the measurements, please

May not need one. I would think it would be better to just not have one than to have one created that might be seen as an attempt to deceive.
I think this BAR inspection rule still applies:
1.3.2 Emission Control System Labels
Underhood Emission Control Label: Each vehicle’s underhood emission control label serves as the primary source for emissions control requirements and to indicate the vehicle’s certification type (California and Federal). It is important to review emission control components on this label, since emission control system technology changes and varies between vehicle manufacturers. A missing or illegible emission control label does not constitute an inspection failure. In cases where the emission control label is missing or illegible, the inspector may proceed with the inspection provided that the required emission controls can be determined using other sources as described in section 1.3.1.
1.3.1 Visual Inspection Procedures
Vehicle Emission Control Requirements: Inspectors must use all available information necessary to determine the vehicle’s emission control requirements, including but not limited to:
• the underhood emission control label (see section 1.3.2);
• a current emission control application guide;
• emission control repair manuals;
• emission component location guides;
• manufacturer emission control recalls;
• vacuum hose routing diagrams;
• California Air Resources Board (CARB) aftermarket parts listings;
• the aftermarket part label (see section 1.3.2);
• and any reliable vehicle manufacturer sources
I know this is an old topic, but I ordered an emissions label from the Parts department at my local Chevy dealer. Much easier.
I need the Federal Certification tag. I'm trying to register my salvage C6 (it's been my car for over 12 years!) and they won't budge without the stupid sticker. CHP appointments are way out to July.
For everyone out there who says "abolish ICE," I say, "ABOLISH THE DMV!"
