Rear Hatch Pull Down Assembly
I had some trouble with the rear hatch not working yesterday. I was able to get it to lock down by pushing it down a little harder but it still did not pull down like normal. When I got home I opened it a few times with the back button and then worked it with the front switch on the dash and it started working again. So it looks like a new one may be in my future. I did some searching here and did not find too much information so I went to my factory manual set I have and I could not find a thing on a hatch or trunk anywhere in the manuals. So my questions are:
1. Does anyone have any information on this problem? Is solenoid replaceable or does the whole unit need to be replaced.
2. What in the world does the factory call the trunk or hatch, because it only mentions "hatch" in the owners manuals, not the factory repair manuals!!
