Default Quick wheels & tire question.

I have a 2010 Base model coupe with the 18”/19” factory chrome wheels and I’m looking at a lightly used set of black replica Z06 wheels designed for the base model.

They are a 19” front and 20” rear setup with Michelin Pilot 4S tires complete with TPMS sensors and black wheel nuts. The Ad says it fits the Z51 package and they only have a few hundred miles on the tires.

From what I’ve read on the forums these cars are very sensitive to tire diameter changes and can throw a fit if they’re too different from OEM.

The front tires are 245/40-ZR19 and the rears are 285/35-ZR20. Will this be an issue?I don’t want any problems with the car if the tires are the incorrect size.

Finally, these were purchased through the American Muscle website as individual parts (tires and wheels separate).

These were originally listed for over $3,000 but now has them at $1,750 and open to reasonable offers.

let me know your thoughts and if this will work or not.

Thanks,
Derrick

How are the Z06 replicas designed for the base model if they are not the same size as the base model? For comparison I have C7 Z06 replicas in correct base model size (245/40/18 and 285/35/19).

As far as working with the traction control system they should. The stock sizes in 18/19" provide a 4.5% difference in diameter from front to rear. Your stock-ish sizes in 19/20" provide a 4.3% difference in diameter from front to rear, i.e. a very small change in differential from the stock sizes.

Its a Z06 replica in a larger diameter with the correct backspacing and offset for the base model.

The C7 Z-51 has that 19/20 set up I believe from the factory. Where base stingray is 18/19

they appear to be a C7 Z06 replica made for the base model.

C6 Z06 wheels are the same DIAMETER front and rear (18" & 19" respectively) as the C6 base model.... however they are WIDER.
Not sure what you're wanting to buy there.... but they do not appear to be C6 Z06 replicas....

If you look at my profile photo, you'll see Z06 replica wheels on my base model.

OMG I didn’t think this would be so difficult to explain.

the wheels will fit, according to the website, but I want to make sure the tire diameter will work and n8t set off the traction control light.

It’s more the diameter difference between front and rear, not overall bumping both.

Its fine. American muscle wouldn’t sell this without this being a stupid common setup.
