It seems like Blend Mount no longer makes C6 radar detector mounts. I am currently using the mirror mount from my 5th gen camaro but unfortunately the only place the mount will clamp to is where the mirror swivels so it's not really adjustable anymore. I have the windshield suction cup mount but would rather find something better. What are you guys using?
I've lived in cities all my life, which has made me quite security-conscious. Corvettes have a convenient hiding spot for radar detectors, located high on the windshield in the tinted area. This placement not only conceals the device but also improves its signal reception. Anything that hangs below the mirror can obstruct your view and might lead to getting stopped by the police in some states. Additionally, a device dangling below the mirror could attract thieves looking for a chance to break into a vehicle. These types of mounts have worked well for me. That's my take.
