Default Calipers painted

Hi there,
I just finished my calipers in velocity yellow. I used G2 paint. It was great and matched perfectly. While doing that job I used paint stripper on the inside of my rims. I did this on my 06 and found that they are chromed under the paint. One of my wheels had a paint failure and the chrome plating had flaked off. The other 3 are ok but do have some chrome that has flaked off as well. I'm thinking of painting them a gloss black, but I sure like the chrome finish. Has anyone used a chrome paint and did it work. I know the gloss black is the easy way out, but I sure love the chrome. I have heard Krylon chrome paint is good but never used it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I just finished the rears today. They need at least 48 hours to completely dry. Then I can put the black Corvette decals on them. Then I will gladly post pics. Sorry!

If the OP has a spot that needs a "spot repair" of chrome on the inner barrel of only 1 wheel, I would experiment first.
As for local availability and brand of paint... I have no insight.

FWIW Look to UTube or like for comparisons.
I have seen some paints that accomplish a chrome look from a spray can.
Good luck with your project.
