We just posted a new video featuring Luis, our Co-Founder and President.
In it, he explains airflow and shaft design, how air moves through our throttle body, and how design choices impact airflow.

Hi there, I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing your message.

Yes, we do offer a larger throttle body to replace the LS2 silver blade, but it must be for an original LS2 vehicle. It will not work on conversions, custom applications, engine swaps, or anything that is not a factory LS2 setup. Even if the harness or ECU has been swapped, it still will not function correctly.

Here is the link to our 95mm throttle body with the silver blade calibration:
https://www.solerengineering.com/generalmotors/95mm

I can also offer you the discount code TIFF5OFF for additional savings.

If your car requires a 103mm throttle body, we offer that size as well with the same deal as the 95mm.

If you have any questions about which one is right for your setup, I’m happy to help.

Hey everyone!
A common question we get is whether you can connect multiple Soler Performance throttle controllers to one phone or if you need separate apps. You can connect as many controllers as you want to the same app, Soler PRF, on one phone. You can also have them connected to a spouse’s phone at the same time.

As you pair each controller, you can rename it so you know which vehicle it belongs to. The app will only connect to the vehicle you are inside of with the ignition on, so there’s no interference between cars.

This means you can run a controller in your weekend car, your pickup truck, your daily driver, your wife’s car, anything you own, and manage them all easily through one app. I hope this helps anyone who didn’t know and might have been holding off on adding controllers to their whole fleet.

With Christmas right around the corner, this is a great time to grab a throttle body or throttle controller if it’s been on your upgrade list. Easy install and a noticeable difference right away.
If anyone has questions about fitment or compatibility, I’m happy to help. Wishing everyone a great holiday week!

Any dyno HP tests showing what a stock LS3 throttle body does vs the upgraded Soler throttle body?

There are two distinct parameters when talking about gains, improvements, hp/trq, etc: wide open throttle (WOT) and partial throttle.

For partial throttle, the gains are independent of any other modification. The most widely talked about gains are at WOT, but at that point it becomes part of the entire system as a whole, from the air filter all the way to the exhaust. As you approach WOT, the gains from the throttle body alone will start to drop unless you have supporting modifications. Will they drop to zero? No. As you open up the entire system more, it helps both the throttle body and the other mods work better together.

As an example, we have had customers with no modifications (completely stock) gain approximately 5–10 HP by switching the throttle body at WOT. In contrast, on heavily modified cars, we have seen gains of 35+ HP at WOT by switching the throttle body alone.

Independently from that, our main focus has always been drivability and improved performance in the partial throttle range, right after idle up to about 50–80% blade opening. That increased airflow, hp, and torque will always be there regardless of what other modifications you add or remove.

It is difficult to assign concrete numbers to partial-throttle gains since a load dyno and vehicle-specific scenarios would be required, but the percentage increase is significant and can be felt without a dyno.

We do not claim fixed numbers due to the many variables between vehicle setups. Our goal is simply to produce the best valve possible for these vehicles, with improved design, features, and maximum airflow for the given size. No OEM or competing throttle body flows more air or is as vehicle-specific.

Thank you for the explanation. Do these throttle bodies require reprogramming of the ECU and does everything align and bolt-up as with the OEM?

No problem at all.

Our throttle bodies do not require any ECU reprogramming. They are completely plug-and-play and operate within the factory calibration.

As for fitment, everything aligns and bolts up like OEM. One note specific to the 95mm unit compared to the OEM throttle body: an adapter kit is required. This ensures proper clearance at the intake manifold and, on some applications, provides additional clearance for the water pump.

Once installed, it functions just like stock, only with improved airflow and response. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hey everyone,

A recent 5 star review that was left on our website for the Soler Performance Throttle Controller:
"You know how you watch YouTube videos and you hear someone hawking a sponsors product and you think, “yeah right, like you don’t have an interest here”. Many occasions I have been fooled by these YouTube so called influencers. Much to my surprise however not only did Soler Performance provide me with an excellent product but they answered all my questions on the phone and through email with professionalism and courtesy. I am as impressed and that is hard to do. As for the throttle body controller itself, if does as advertised and a whole lot more. It truly works. There are several how to install videos on YouTube which are fine but lack key information. However Soler reps helped me through the issues. Not something you see everyday. I will now save up for the 91mm portal throttle body itself which I now believe will even make more of an impact. Be good to the customer and they will be good to you. Soler gets that."

If anyone has experience they would like to share with a Soler Performance product, please feel free to leave your review here:
