Looks like a Corsa exhaust? It should have a name stamp on the bottom of the mufflers.
Being a convertible, check the top and motor assembly. Check harmonic balancer, and have it inspected by a 3rd party mechanic who is well-versed on Corvettes. Well worth the $150 inspection fee and to put it on a rack.
Price wise, if all looks good, no accidents. I would say low $30s. Run it through KBB and see what it shows price wise.
Hi there,
Nice car and my favorite color. The exhaust looks like a Corsa, but I have seen some Mid-America house brands that look almost identical. If you like the sound it's a non issue. A lot of owners make the exhaust the first thing they do. As for mechanical, do you have experience? If so put it on a rack and look underneath. As for Pettrix saying to look at the Balance he is right. That is a $1500 job give or take. Still it is beautiful and other than the obvious stuff, you only live once! Get the things that make you happy...
When you have it up on the rack look at the tie rod end links on the back and the tie rods on the front and make sure the protective boot is intact and has no tears. The rear tie rods ends are expensive, front tie rods are very reasonably priced at AutoZone with a lifetime guarantee.

Tie rods are only in the front.... what are you referring to in the rear? Couldn't be the sway bar links either... as those are the same front and rear and are inexpensive.
If this is your first ever convertible, understand that you will "bake" on a sunny day with an all black interior, with the top down.
That was a very serious issue with our previous convertible, this Saturn Sky. It looked nice, but was brutal on sunny days. The ice cold a/c helped but not enough.... not even close.
We wised-up and bought our C6 with maximum cashmere available, which was a great decision. Zero black like the 2003 C5 Anniversary Edition has, would have been better yet, but this still works.
For reference, here is a 2003 Anniversary Edition. We owned this one many years ago and it was perfect in this regard.

Hi, Mark, I just looked at your post. It seems like you have a lot of C6 experience, so I will only add one thing.Check the wear and the date on the tires. If old and/or worn, that can definitely be a factor to lower the price in negotiations. I went to Corvette Mikes and looked at all of the pictures. This car appears to have either been well maintained or well detailed at the dealer. To me, it is a very sharp looking vert. If it checks out mechanically, is a sound body, and is the right price for you . . . jump on it! Let us know which way you decide to go with this Corvette.
Wouldn't the same be true for a coupe with the top removed?
Yes, but most people with a targa top are more selective, when to go topless.
We use our convertible like a motorcycle. Whenever we go out in it, it is good top-down weather. The top is used only for an unexpected change in weather and temperature. The top is typically stowed away all season long. Off season, the top goes up to avoid shrinkage and for a car cover to fit nicely.
I have a convertible with the dark grey interior and the AC works pretty well keeping comfortable but if it's really hot I just put the top up. I don't care for baking in the sun, getting a t shirt tan.
I honestly think the price is a little high being that it's yellow. The yellow ones usually sell for less. At least when I was looking that's how I saw it. I think that car should be $30k or a little less. It's an LS3 so that brings more money. If you really like it and everything checks out I don't see a reason not to buy it even if a little overpriced.

Those were my thoughts. If it is exactly what you had in-mind, then buy it. If you are looking for a good price, it's a bit high. But $4000 today is like $3000 or even $2000 5 years ago when it comes to many other purchases, so maybe the price is good for the times.
34K, manual 6 speed maybe but not for an automatic. The miles are lower and the condition looks to be great so I do agree with the others that if this is what you want then get it. If not and there are some compromises this is more like a 28K-30K IMHO.
BTW if you are worried about the interior color and seats getting hot Zip Corvettes sell "seat towels" for cheap, $40 for the pair, they slip over the head rest have the logo embroidered so they look nice and stay in place. I live in SFL and my targa stays pretty much under the hatch the whole time and I have the TT Red/Black interior. These will not only save your A$$ from tanning but also keeps the UV light from drying out the leather.
I use KELLY BLUE BOOK and the "going market" to determine current values.
1.5 years ago when we bought our 2013 GS convertible with automatic, 3LT, NAV, NPP, Mag-Ride, with 12,500 miles, Kelly Blue Book assured us that we paid a very good price for the car.....better than trade-in value at the time.
Plugging in everything today on Kelly Blue Book, 1.5 years later, trade-in value dropped by $6000 indicating that prices are trending downward from an insurance perspective. If selling our Vette today, it would be challenging to get back the $45,000 we paid for it. Good thing we didn't buy it to make money.
