Default Cranking Engine Without Starting

Trying to prime oil cooler. I know there is a feature on C6s that allows you to crank the engine without starting but I tried that on my 2013 auto trans. I pressed accelerator all the way down hit the start button and it would not crank. So I am assuming I have to press the brake pedal AND the accelerator and then hit the start button?

If that doesn't work I was going to pull the Fuel pump fuse but my question is. Will the injectors still dump fuel into the cylinders and the plugs will attempt to fire with whatever residual fuel is in the injector?

With an auto left foot on brake and right foot on the gas pedal to the floor and hold it there…car will only crank.

It worked! Thank you again! The brake pedal is mandatory as is the accelerator to the floor

And with a manual you have to hold the clutch pedal to the floor along with the accelerator pedal.

Push the clutch in and press start. Just like you would normally do.
