The VX gm nano is not a bad tool in smaller package, but cable that comes with it sucks, so pick up better one from amazon at the same time you buying the unit.
But back it up, since if you just need to have the nav UN-married from old car (cleared) so it can marry to your car on next start up, would dare to guess that someone local to you that has one, could give you an hand doing such, since only talk about 3 mins.
