I am going to drive my 11 GS from Ky to Southern California in a couple of months and was considering having a protective film applied to the windshield before I leave.
Anyone have experience with doing this?
Have driven this route a few times previously and the windshield seems to take it the hardest.

I haven't had PPF applied to any of my windshields, but I do know of an individual who had it done on his C7.
Tagged him here so he may provide input, biggest obstacle for me to get iit done is to find a place that actually will install it on the windshield. @LT4CMG can you provide any additional information here?
Race cars will often have tear off windshield protectors. You could use something like that, but I'm not sure what you're worried about. Just drive smart an avoid being behind big trucks without mudflaps and you're probably not gonna have any issues

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I have windshield specific film on my z06. Have had a couple years now. 0 issues. As with all PPF, your installer matters. This isn’t something a newb should do on your windshield.
