Added Stripes!
I went with VetteStripes.com. They had lots of choices, good instructions, and installation videos. I've had this Vette for about 1-1/2 years and have been wanting do personalize it somehow and decided on metallic silver stripes on my Lemans Blue Vette.
I had a laser level from some tile work I had done so I set that up on a tripod and used that to get a good center line. I had prepped the car with a wash, clay bar, then an alcohol wipe per the instructions.
They provided spacing stripes in a different color so you just lay them down, then start with your color. For each cutout, they had noted which panel, side, and orientation it was so it was pretty foolproof.Everything went down with a slight soapy solution, position the stripe, then lightly squeegee out the water and it laid down flat.
I needed to do a little bit of trimming at the end but I was real pleased with the results. Now my car won't get lost in the parking lot of the Vette meetups! :-) Final money shots below!

I'm working on stripes right now. I'm cutting my own and customizing from some pictures I saw. I'll post up once I get going. They make a nice change and when you get tired of them or want a change you can just peel it off and do something else. I've done my truck and wifes car and friends cars for fun.
We had stripes added to our blade silver years ago, but did not (and would not) dare to try to apply them. We fear that had we put them on the car, they would have come out looking like we put them on the car. Instead, a professional did it properly.
We trudge on.
