Switch Back Lights HyperFlash Solved

Default Switch Back Lights HyperFlash Solved

So tried Various Switch Back Leds and everyone would Hyper Flash Left Side with Lights on and Foot on Brake. This led me to believe the voltage or what ever signal goes but brake Lights is causing it I have Infari Back there with Built in Resistors. I thought well cant hurt I had a Harness Similar to pictured so plugged it in to Rear Tail Line and PROFIT all working as they should. No Hyper Flash!

My only concern is the resistors.
Switch Backs up front 1 each 50w 6ohm
Infari's each have them (guessing 50w 6ohm each)
Now the Harness in rear for Tail lights have 2 50w 6ohm


Can I cause damage?

This weekend I want to test tails to see if they are culprit.
Install OEM front and disconnect resistors
Unplug Harness in rear

I had that and worked great for a year now left side hyperflash sometimes.

I have that hyperflash plug & play resistors and I have the Infarai, never had an issue so far. I was using the hyperflash plug & play resistors with the OEM lights (LED bulbs installed) and never hyperflashed. When I installed the Infarai, I didn't feel like removing that harness so I ran it with the Infarai, so far so good.

really so no issues. I was afraid the resistors would get super hot because of as the resistance. Tonight I swapped in my ambers and unhooked the front resistors, and removed resistor harness in rear.

so you had rear resistor harness and also resistors for the front switch back?

I used Auxito canbus LED bulbs from Amazon. No hyperflash, no resistor needed as it’s built in. Still working flawlessly.

They are nice lights but still got hyper flash, now resistors we’re good up front,
rear infari have there own, what solved the lights on foot on break left side only hyper was another two resistors in the rear.

But I was worried about all the resistance so put my fronts back to stock.
I just don’t want to start having electrical problems caused by all the resistors, Im assuming it would be fine but would like to know from someone more knowledgeable than me.

so you had rear resistor harness and also resistors for the front switch back?
Yes, rear resistor harness and front resistors for white/amber switchbacks. Then installed rear Infarai but left harness in place.

So yes I can throw resistors at it and have no issue with Hyper, but I feel that doesn't solve the issue correctly, as purchasing the lights there is nothing in Instructions of having to buy a resistor harness and they should operate out of box correctly as advertised.
I believe one of the left resistors is weak or bad on the Tail Lights thou hooking them up one at a time didn't yield bad light. But obviously they are bad as seen in my You Tube post: They randomly do as shown in Video at beginning yesterday they did it quite a bit during a cruise.


I bought them last October so still under warranty, But I'm waiting for Umnitza or Infairi to see if I can buy 2 Resistor Boxes and fix them as sold to market, I'm not looking for warranty I'll just buy them out right!
