Default Tick Speed Bleeder

I just did a clutch job on my C6. Every where I read said make sure to do the speed bleeder, so I did. Every time the clutch is pressed a tiny amount of fluid leaks around the threads on the bleeder end. I have put thread sealant on that to try to stop it, not sure if it works yet or not. When bleeding the bleeder is worthless. Crack it open the tiniest bit and fluid just rushed out around the threads. I REALLY hope I don't have a similar situation going on down at the slave cylinder. Redoing all that work due to cheap parts that don't seal together would suck! My confidence is not high right now. I just hope there are no leaks at the bottom and the sealant with fix the bleeder end up top. If I need to bleed it again, I'll probably just put a regular bleeder screw in it and have someone help me. I hope my experience is fluke and not the norm. I tried to leave a review on the Tick website so others would know about my experience but saving reviews is currently not working. Seems kind of convenient.

Not sure if this will work on the Tick but this is what comes on the Katech speed bleeder which is pretty much the gold standard bleeder after researching awhile back. I had no issues with it and it worked fantastic.

It sounds like your Tick speed bleeder is defective. I had a Tick speed bleeder installed 6 months ago along with a clutch and torque tube job. The speed bleeder works just as it should. No leaks, and when I go to bleed the clutch line, I just crack the bleeder end and proceed with the bleeding process. The check valve in the end takes care of allowing fluid to exit without allowing air to enter the system. Close the bleeder end when finished.
It sounds like there is nothing wrong with the slave cylinder end of your bleeder line. That's a good thing because it would be a lot of work to replace the entire bleeder line. So, if it is possible to just replace the fitting at the bleeder end of the line, that should restore your bleeder line to full functionality.
