A sawzall and replacement pipe and clamps is all that’s really needed.
A tube will be needed if you want to shut off the cel, or maybe 02 simulators…. Or just ignore the cel and live life.

If high flow cats are in play now, your only going to gain about 3HP total, but cabin is going to stink of burnt fuel every stop light.

If car does not have long tube headers, then going to gain about 25HP with them, will need to retune the car for the headers to gain the full amount that the headers have to offer, but would still run high flow cats to prevent the unburnt fuel smell.

Truth is, would check to see what pulley is on the blower now (engine is now putting out 606hp), what extra room you have with fuel delivery to go with smaller pulley, and your best mod may be smaller pulley to increase boost/gain more HP that way, and leave the rest alone.

Simply, high flow cats do not really restrict the motor to lose any really measurable HP lose, and on a engine that should be putting out around 650hp with long tube headers, kind of dumb to remove the high flow cats in the first place.

Thank you for replying to my post! Only reason I'm changing cats is because they are throwing codes so I need to replace them. Just wondering what would be the best way to go. Sounds like your recommending high flow cats instead of a delete. I will definitely check into these. Thank you for the input.

You will regret going catless. The smell will be awful. Go with the high flow cats. The cats I used were from LG MotorSports. The high flow cats cost me 4hp on the dyno.

The best way to do it is with long tube headers, so you get a bunch of power out of it.
