Hi guys! I recently hit a pothole and my whole front wheel fender liner got ripped out as well as the protection under my front bumper. I have already bought a replacement, but to replace the fender liner, must I remove the fender? Sorry im new to this. Thanks!
Wow must have been one heck of a pot hole to rip out the inner fender. But no you can remove the wheel and remove the clips holding the inner fender on and replace in reverse order.
Hi there,
I do not think you will need to remove the fender. I pulled both of my back ones to clean and paint. I have also pulled the front one (driver side) and although it's a bit fiddley, it's possible. I think they are secured by a small bolt that is either a 7mm head or a 6mm...can't remember. Some of them are seemingly hidden, so make sure they are all removed or you may damage something. Keep in mind, when ALL the bolts are removed it should come out easily. So make sure you remove them all. You will also need to remove the tire and wheel for clearance. Good luck!
