Not that I heard of, what is it doing, make noise is usually the first sign it's telling you something, get it checked out before it failed like mind did.
2005 Corvette 92,000 miles, when it failed.
Replaced Serpentine belt
Crank pulley
Tensioner
A/C compressor cause it ripped the wires from the compressor
Had them replace water pump since they had to remove it, wanted new one not worry having leak later.
