Default Trailer/towing

Anyone ever rented and know of a company that has trailers for the c6 Z06? In the process of moving from Florida to Texas and need to trailer the vette. Thanks in advance.

I rented a tilting car trailer from U-Haul when I picked up my car from California. I made 2 stepped ramps from 2x10 lumber to pull the front tires up onto so I could pull all the way up on the trailer strapped her down at the factor anchor points and off we went. Towed like a heavy trailer because it was all steel and built like a tank. Vett rode great got home with no problems. Enjoy Texas

I used Stopwatch to ship my car from Northern Cal to Kerrville when I bought it from a dealership. It was $1,800 in an enlosed trailer and about 1,600 miles. Might be worth getting a quote. I think UHaul is your only trailer rental option for a one way trip. A lot of guys have had success with the standard car hauler trailer and I believe there's a new toy hauler trailer out.

I looked at trying to rent a trailer for track days but ended up just buying one. There's not a lot of options out there.

Your car was a c6 z06? Was it lowered at all? I did see two videos on YouTube about people doing that method you said but they showed a base model c7 and dodge challenger. Mine isn’t lowered but obviously they sit low anyways and mine is a z06 which is a wider base so I didn’t know if that would be an issue. I appreciate your feedback and response!

If you are not comfortable with using a U Haul trailer or don't have a good tow vehicle, consider using a reliable transporter like Plycar
