Greetings; Having owned two ZR1's, came across this 'auction' site. They had a 21k mile 2009 black Z on their page, with this vin: 1G1YR26R695800935.
The website is: https://middletnmotors.com/. The car is claimed to be in Tujunga, CA. Has anyone dealt with this group?? All the vehicles on their site appear from the pics to be 'pristine', and the claim is they are 'repossessed'. Highly doubtful. What do you think??
Hi there,
I owned a used car dealership in the 80's with my dad. My advice to NEVER believe what they say. Check the car out for yourself, and if it was a repossessed keep in mind if they couldn't make the payments, the car was probably never serviced properly. People do bad things to cars when they know it is going to be repossessed. Also be very aware the mileage may have been altered. Look on Google and search "odometer reset devices". They are available for about $400. Anyone can buy them and I don't believe there are any regulations on the device itself. To my knowledge, the C6 computer system does NOT keep a secondary record of the mileage which makes it susceptible to being fraudulently presented as to the mileage. Good luck!
How many 12-16yr old American cars do you think are getting repoed.
Probably more than you'd think. The C6Z is a halo car for a lot of people, and there's generations out there who have zero financial literacy and will buy the car and "figure out how to pay for it later".
Didn't that very car/vin sell on BAT last month?

YES, you are absolutely correct! This so-called 'company', claiming to sell 'repossessed' vehicles, is cherry-picking the very best from top websites and claiming they 'own' them. The FCC should shut them down, pronto!!
It’s kind of like all the Facebook and IG vendors that specialize in. Corvette parts that just take others people’s listings and act like they are selling them,
I read your thread with interest as this is a pretty obvious scam. Some of the Forum members are phenomenal at tracking these things down. Another one that was on here was for a 67. The sleuths here not only figured out the scam but that the posting actually came from Europe. Scumbags abound!
Their address is actually a real.place, and you can see their sign in street view. Theyr located next to a psychic reader and a payday loan place, and they have no lot and basically nowhere to even park cars.
My guess is the scam is to get deposits sent in, not the full price of the car. $2500 or $5kntpmhold a car or whatever and then they ghost you.
100% - Interesting to see their so-called 'office' on GoogleMaps - yep, just a huge SCAM...but have to give them tremendous credit for the high quality of their website! Amazing...if only it was legit!
