Sorry if this issue has been discussed and solved already. I had a heck of a time preventing the outside mirrors from tilting down whenever I started my new (to me) 2012 C6 base 3LT. This worked for me:
How to Fix the "Mirror Drift" 🏎️
To stop them from bowing down every time you start the engine, you need to "force-save" the correct position over the existing memory. Try this exact sequence:
1. Start the car (or put it in accessory mode).
2. Manually adjust your mirrors, seat, and steering wheel to exactly where you want them.
3. Locate the "1" button on your driver’s door.
4. Press and HOLD the "1" button.
You will hear one beep almost immediately.
Keep holding it! After a few more seconds, you should hear two beeps.
5. The crucial step: Once you hear those two beeps, immediately press the LOCK button on your key fob. This "marries" your current physical settings to that specific remote.
BTW, this is my first Corvette and I'm enjoying everything about it (even the problem-solving).
I specifically set the mirrors to show my rear wheels and the curb with the #2 button. Makes it much easier to back into a parking spot without a rear view camera. You probably just overrode the previous owners custom settings. LOL

Wow that's a great idea. Been toying with the idea of installing a rear view camera but your solution will solve the backing into a space as well. To me aiming down the mirrors is all that's needed.
Plenty of knowledge on this Forum for sure.
Many thanks.
