You can price a car to sell or be for sale, big difference between the two. Use Carvana or Carmax to get what they will pay (MMR price) and as stated above look at past sales (6 month window) on the internet and you will have the low-high window of the cars value.
I personally will just go the Carvana route when I get tired of my C6 to not have to deal with tire kickers.
