Import Tariffs
I bought a 2012 grand sport in November, I want to import it into Canada now, where i live. On the window sticker, it shows 75% of the parts originate in USA/Canada. For the tariffs I have to pay to bring it into Canada, I am looking to find out where I can get documented information on that 75%, is it 40% USA, 35% Canada? This number is what my tariffs will be based on, according to the research I found. Can Anyone help? I've tried contacting GM, my broker, can't seem to get anywhere.

The National Corvette Museum has a close relationship with GM Bowling Green Assembly....might e-mail them instead of GM..... info@corvettemuseum.org
BG Assembly phone number is 270-745-8019
ALAA site has some info describing lableing requirements. https://www.nhtsa.gov/part-583-ameri...ng-act-reports
You see a trend? 2007 C6 is 85% US/CA......2013 is 70%

I have emailed the museum a couple of times, no response yet.
I just tried calling BG, I'll try again on Monday.
That 75% is the issue. It groups Canada and USA into one category. I need that separated. When we had NAFTA, then this was fine. Now it's not sufficient.
