So I replaced mine yesterday, took me about 6 hours including 2 trips to the store to pick up some deep sockets I didn’t own.
Here is the process:
Turn wheels to the right and remove the boot and passenger side tie rod.
Remove fan assembly.
I removed the air intake parts to replace my belts.
Remove passenger side rack mounting bolt and loosen driver side bolt.
I laid a 2x4 across the engine bay and used a ratchet strap to hold the rack up just enough to get to the crank bolt. There is enough room to remove it and pull the crank pulley.
I installed the crank seal, new pulley and pinned the crank.
I’m pretty sure with access to a lift instead of jack stands this is doable in 3-4 hours.
Thanks for the link to the video. I dont have the wobble but did buy a ATI balancer just to have incase it does show up. After seeing this video I might have to tackle it next winter.
No alignment needed. As shown in the video the, the tie-rod bolts directly to and bottoms out on the steering rack., just as it did before. The procedure shown could save hours of labor. I need to look into this further.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with the supercharger. You may have a little less room up top to ratchet strap the steering rack out of the way, but it should work..
No, you are merely rotating the passenger end of the steering rack up a few inches for access to the crank bolt. You don’t disconnect the link to the steering column.

Did you install an ATI Balancer? How hard was it to pin the balancer to the crank?
