Anybody have any experience with a "wireless" backup camera for a C6? If so what brand?
Wired is always the best route. I know of no manufacturer that uses a wireless backup camera. It's not that difficult to run a wire to the back of the car. The carpet on these cars is easy to access and pull back
I have a wireless setup I purchased from Amazon. Works good only problem is it requires it's own monitor. Cannot connect to screen. So replacing with a wired system now.

Have to ask, there any mounts to the windshield with cups, instead sitting on dash?
We have that one in gf's benz. It has been fine np's. In storage the battery in cam did need a charging after months with no sun. In the sun the charge lasted months. It's not our fav cuz separate screen and wires and plugs but it works great for a car I'm never going to try and get a wire to the back.
Ill have to try it. I know it will connect to a second camera also, I've purchased it but never installed it. I don't know about flipping it vertical. I can try it tomorrow

Used a Garmin BC40/50 for a while connected to a 7" Garmin navigation unit. Was a pretty slick setup as the Garmin could also be tethered to your phone and was a nice little "command center". Mounted to a cup arm and put it all aside when I upgraded to a Maxdin unit (and frankensteined together my own phone holder from a few different offerings on the side).

I had one similar to this https://a.co/d/0gsnYIDu in my 2012 Camaro SS.
I haven't read this whole thread so this may have already been stated. The biggest problem with the wireless camera is the delay from when you shift into reverse and when the image appears on the screen.
As for oem's using wireless camera's, at least a couple are now. I had a Hyundai Elantra rental car that I had the pleasure to abuse that had a wireless rear camera. My wife's Buick suv has a wireless backup camera.
