c6 beta pix are shocking!
I heard the C6 was going to be designed with influences from the c3 front face and that it would have the bulges / crease lines over the wheels like the 67 stingray AND the top cove line would run along the body toward the top right through the door handles and continue to meld as the top crease line over the rear wheelsthe bottom of the cove line would be wider in vertical distance than the c5 sort of like the reverse of the mustang's and the back would be curved like the c3. The SMC body material can be molded to any shape and confiquration, I think these pix where put out by gm on purpose to see what the reaction would be at this early stage, Anext Generation should be a radically changed Corvette while incorporating the traditions of the Corvette,ie four taillights,popup headlights,dual exhausts,"the Cove" and long front end with a fluid muscular flow of the body panels...this is going to be interesting to see what they develope :chevy :chevy :chevy

One of the photos of the Betas in the moutains shows the cut of the fender tops real well. Very interesting. Definitely higher and edgier than the C5.

Reminds me of the old Starion... a complete clean sheet revamp that was almost like the previous one but "edgier." Sound familiar? Why bother. What I've seen of the pix, etc. is that ALL the C-6 goodies are UNDER the plastic.
Now, if they come out with a retrofit shock package, as has been suggested, Brembo carbon brake rotor kit (as noted in AutoWeek), and a supercharger--let's see, I'll save how much and have a better looking, better performing car!
