We pretty much know from the info that c6 will be shorter the and the rear will be smaller. Can the crease in the rear camo in this spyshot be the real line of the car?

That would be my guess.

It appears that this is also bkuper's guess. See his photoshopped images in the following thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=651958

I have been looking at that line for a while too and have been thinking the same thing.

The clay and sketches at http://palmeter.com/CorvetteTimelineW11P07.htm bolster this theory, since the lines show a very chopped off rear.

It looks like they have a long 3 inch wide strip of stiff thin material (metal?) to push the cammo out in the shape of the c5.

Also, i think someone from the las vegas showing was paraphrased as saying "almost no bodywork past the rear wheels".

And this would also account for the people saying that it is 5 or 6 inches shorter. I know the c6 will be shorter but even if the overall length of the c6 is not as much as 5 or 6 inches shorter it sure would appear that way with the rear end chopped off so abruptly, and that would certainly leave a strong impression.

Looks like ALOT more glass then on the C5 Coupe, probably added to wgt reduction.
