Default An odd post.

Where do we draw the line between the C6, and the C6 Z06? What would make us at this particular time consider waiting for a Z, if we can order a "Normal" Corvette very soon? We're talking about a year. That is not small potatoes.
Shall we wait...?

You're right. It is an odd post.

Either wait or don't wait. It's not like you have to live with your choice forever. If you buy a C6 right away and then like the Z06 when it comes out....trade it in.

No big deal.

GM is promising a more significant difference between the targa / vert C6 vs the C6 Z06 in performance, and in appearance, than that of their C5 counterparts. Could be the Z06 will have a significant increase in price relationship also. If you wait for the Z, and then find that it's too costly, you could then get a Targa / vert with a full production year behind it. This will be a personal call on your part.

I wouldn't buy first year but you can always trade up if you don't want to wait.

Wait for the HP version, and if you don't like it, then you can buy a coupe.

Frankly, I won't have the money to buy a C6. However, it's highly possible that I'll have the money to buy a C6 Z06. Soooo, I'll wait.

Unless GM changes the design of the C6 ZO6 roofline, increased horsepower or not I'd choose the C6 coupe. However, I'll probally keep my C5 for a few more years.

My thought is just that, somehow I'm not satisfied with a new Corvette anymore. That is "wrong thinking". I've really got to re-orient myself and return to Earth. And get a new C6.
