looks like they are hiding something in front of the wheelwell there... maybe a brake cooling duct like the zo6. something to maybe add to some chopshops
Those screws are also on a C5. It does look like the body panel doesn't line up very well, though.
I thought the same thing but then I realized that there is a coverup in this area. Look at the pic again & you can see tape or something on the fenderwell as if it were covering the lower front fender.

It was this pic (and the bad fit there) that made me think that the rear fenders could be bogus, but I was poo pooed at the time. When I blew it up, the fender looked like a skin over the real fender using the same fasteners & holes as the fenders underneath.
Touche! Your picture shows them within the door indent. I did not look there. Having said that I still believe that there is something covered up there because of the horizontal line.

I just can't get over the width of that door sill. Looks to be almost a foot wide.
I was thinking the same thing when I first saw that picture.
:yesnod: :yesnod: What I said. C6 will have a wider wheel base front and rear.
Here's another what if: obviously there is significantly more room here for the HF rails. This redesign could be there for the application of necessarily larger, but lighter Aluminum HF rails, only for the Z06 which will, no doubt share the doors of the base models.
