I don't think it will have the "teeth" like that, but they got the headlights pretty close, based on the "boat shop" photos of the front end. Good catch!
There was an interview months ago with the head Hot Wheels designer concerning the big 35th anniversary Hot Wheels bash planned for the Petersen Automotive museum in LA . He said he was currently working with a Red C6 ( sounds like the one they revealed much later to the dealers in Las Vegas) getting measurements , photos and proportions so that the toy version would be ready early next year at stores . This looks like it. Notice the shape of the side marker light , the way the rear fender top blends into the door, etc. exactly as on the " SF " photos.

i saw a similar interview, perhaps an exerpt from the same, on cnbc a few weeks back. the hot wheels guy said that they have special arrangements with the auto manufacturers so that they can be ready with the new merchandise as soon as new models are revealed. he went on to say something along the lines of ".... for example, the next generation corvette due to be unveiled in january is already finished. i have it sitting on my desk back at the office."
I hope this is right and the headlights will have the body color under glass look a la Ferrari instead of the massive chrome triangle like most cars have.
Sorry, don't want to incite another headlight debate. :leaving:
Thanks for the pic.
BTW, that Hot Wheels guy just HAS to brag about how he knows what it looks like already. Punk. :smash:
