IMO, C5 butt looks much better. I actually think the C6 tail is too retro. It doesn't make sense to have a retro tail but a very new looking front and the only distinct look of the C6 seems to be the front. As far as hp, well, I won't go there.

I started a Poll a while back that asked how many LOVED the C5 at first sight. That poll had 2300 views and about 200 votes. Just about half said they loved it at first sight and half did not like it. 75% of those who did not like the C5 "at first sight" said they later came to like the design. I haven't started a similar poll for the C6 because I feel we have not seen enough of the car for anyone to cast a truely informed vote.
Wait until you see ALL of the C6, then wait some more before you make up your mind.
I'm getting tired of people who don't like it start a new thread about it everyday, please continue the other threads.
By the way, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL JANUARY WHEN YOU SEE ALL THE PICS BEFORE YOU TALK. Another thing, MAYBE IT'S BETTER IF YOU WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE CAR IN PERSON, I'm sure just like the C5, the C6 looks sweeter in person. But I like like it and it's your loss, there nothing you can do about, except not buy one, because that design will be around for at least 6-8 years, so get used to it.

:iagree: Who the hell can make a decision from a couple of carrier pics? :smash: Don't buy one then...drive one from the last 51 years while and we'll all be happy.
You know, all these negative comments about the new Corvette really surprise me. First, I must say that all the camo pics had me worried, but the carrier pics show just how much the hidden parts contribute to making this a DROP DEAD beautiful car. Also, I remember seeing pics of the C5 when it was first revealed and being very disappointed. Once I saw it in person...WOW. As a matter of fact, I still think the C5 is much more striking in person. Anyway, we need to see this thing in person before we actually have a reason to pass judgment.
Also, I have noticed that most of the people who do not like the new Vette make some strange comments like, "looks too much like the C5" or, "looks too much like (insert other car name here.)" How is it that it looks like a Viper or Ferrari or...too much like the current Corvette. I don't understand how a car can look so much like a car other than Corvette and simultaneously look like the current Corvette. Some people, I swear. Also, there are those who want tacky stuff, like Greenwood packages and other screwed and glued gaudiness. Oh well, each to his/her own I guess.
My bet is that even the doubters will want one once they see them at the stop light next to them.

 Yeah. Right. There are a lot of old cars that look like that.
Callaway could do better? Ugh. Visually, Callaway was rice before rice was rice. Callaway does great B-movie supercars -- the kind that glow or transform or fly or come to life and kill people or vanish into thin air with Charlie Sheen behind the wheel -- not production-looking sports/GT cars.
You might as well have said "give the design to Greenwood."

:yesnod: Greenwood designs would be high school project horror movie, IMO.
