No wheel weights
It's about time...Corvette wheels that do not have the wheel weights on the outside (must be done on the inside of the wheel). I always dread it when the tire place has to remove the old weights (they usually leave some kind of a mark on the wheel).
Don't get your hopes up too high based on the pictures we have seen. Remember, these are hand made "Show" cars. The production models could still have clip on weights on the outside.

The production cars will most likely have the weights on the outside since they will most likely be attached on the assembly line just like the ones on the C5.
roger that...but if these are the wheels (and it's possible these may just be "show" wheels) you can see in the close up pictures that there is no "lip" on the outside of the wheel to attach weights...I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Those are real C6 cars and those are the "real" wheels. So I am told. The wheels are "released for production" parts. And I agree , I hate seeing wheel weights on the rim edge. Looks like the Corvette Team was thinking about us on this one!

I have a '99 and my wheel weights are not on the outside. I have the magnesium sport wheels which may explain why. The weights are on the inside of the rim , attached by adhesive strip.
