The blue devil was a quick and simple rendering, I didnt get into where would the plate mount or any level of detail like that. All I know is the current C6 has a big opening there now and somehow there will be a plate mount in there for states that require it. The rendering simply has a mesh grill covering the factory opening.
My personal suggestion is to forget a front plate for 14 years and 6 vettes later in a state that it is law like I have in my home state of Illinois. The only time you typically have a chance of getting ticketed is if you are pulled over for speeding or another offense and the cop wants to be an jerk.
My solution - keep the clean lines of the car and have a good lawyer that gets it thrown out every time. I have had as many as 3 tickets and 2 warnings issued in one stop including no front plate and with the assistance of my lawyer lets just say - problem solved!

 Well it's good you have money to waste on lawyers for a no front plate ticket.
As for me I'd rather spend it more wisely. Especially for a ticket that is totally preventable. It's just a license plate. No big deal.
