Will that be MP3 capability from the headunit or an external player? Also, will the head unit be able to swallow more than one CD at a time so we can ditch the extra hardware in the backend of the car?

From the "leaked" info, there are three audio options:
1. Base
2. Base + 6 CD changer (all in dash)
3. Integrated Navigation system (no CD changer at all)
I personally would prefer the "extra hardware in back" since I really like the 12 changer. Load it up for a month and forget about it. Not to mention that there is apparently no changer at all with the Nav system, so if they don't offer it, it looks like that will be a big after market item.
As far as MP3s go, it appears to all work directly with the head in the console. Until someone gets their hands on a working model we won't know all the details.
